Holdout Notes is a static guide site. We do not run Google AdSense, analytics pixels, or comment forms on launch pages.
What we collect now
If you email hello@holdoutnotes.com, we see whatever you put in that message. Hosting logs (IP, user agent, requested URL) may be stored by the host for security and uptime. We do not sell that data.
Steam embeds
Some pages embed the official Steam widget. Steam may set cookies or collect data under Valve’s own policy when that iframe loads.
If we add ads or analytics later
When search traffic is stable we may add Google AdSense and/or Search Console / Analytics. This policy will be updated first, with the vendor names, cookie purpose, and a way to contact us. We will not put ads over tables or step lists.
